Rules to Qualify for the 2020 FIFG FootGolf World Cup in Japan

  1. Requisites:
    In order to have a chance to qualify for the 2020 FIFG FootGolf World Cup, players have to:
    a) Be a registered FootGolf Australia member with World Tour licence for 2020
    b) Play a minimum of 4 Australian Open Footgolf Series competitions as a registered player (1.a) between 2 February and 17 May

  2. Available spots - Individual Competition:
    a) 4 Men (aged 18+)
    b) 3 Seniors (aged 46+)
    c) 1 Women (aged 18+)

  3. Qualifying

    a) Individual Competition - Direct Qualification
    Players in each category (Men, Seniors, Women) meeting both requisites 1.a and 1.b by 17 May will qualify for the 2020 FIFG FootGolf World Cup directly based on the results of the Australian Open (FIFG500 on 29 - 31 May at Horizons Golf Resort):

    • Top 4 men (excluding the 3 players already qualified: Deryn Knott, Stephen Senyard, Josh Ackland)
    • Top 3 Seniors
    • Ladies winner

b) Qualification by Ranking
A number of spots for the Team competition (TBD by the end of February) will be awarded based on ranking points of:

    • the best AUS50
    • the best 2 AUS100
    • the AUS500
